Membership Dues
Dues for 2008 were payable October 1, 2008. Dues must be paid before ordering from plant sales or seed lists. Anyone who has not paid by April 1 will be deleted from the membership list and will not receive the May Newsletter.
If in doubt as to whether you have paid, contact Betty Macdonald, Bettym534@hfx.eastlink.ca. 852-2779.
Sales Confusion
We have standardized the names of our sales to avoid confusion:
Tissue Culture Sale - self explanatory. For members only.
May Meeting Sale - plants sold by members at the May meeting. See Calendar of Events.
Pre-order Pickup (advanced sale) - Pickup for plants ordered from list in this issue. For members only.
Public Sale - Plants contributed by members and nursery grown plants, open to the public. Our main fund raiser.
Tissue Culture Sale
(Members Only)
This will be held on Saturday (date TBA) at St. Andrew's Centre, 6955 Bayers road, Halifax. Pickup time will be 1:30 - 3:00 p.m. If you have pre-ordered plants please be certain to make arrangements to have them picked up if you are unable to do so yourself.
