BORROWING POLICY

The library maintains a collection of materials that may be borrowed by RSCAR members in good standing.

Material is loaned for a period of one month. It is the responsibility of the borrower to ensure that material is returned safely to the librarian by the end of the loan period. Borrowers should respect the needs of other members to obtain access to the material and return items promptly.

Borrowers who fail to return their materials may lose their borrowing privileges at the discretion of the executive. Borrowers are responsible for the cost of replacement of any material lost.

BORROWING PROCEDURE

Normal procedure is for the books to be borrowed and returned at monthly meetings. All books will now be available at the monthly meetings.

The book can be picked up at the meeting and is due back at the next meeting. If, for some reason, you are unable to attend the next meeting, the librarian must be notified and alternative arrangements made for the book's return.
